Belle was my first horse that I actually owned . And the first horse to carry the Via prefix even though there was no thoughts in my mind at that age of a prefix . She was the lucky one to be given the name that came from that famous street in Rome . Via Veneto means the Sweet life and life was and was not sweet with her but she gave me incredible experience especially teaching me the most important factors to producing an horse , Patience and tonnes of it was required here . But like a good wine the older Belle got the better . She gave me incredible fun , thrills and a few spills along the way and somehow she managed to appear about 5 times in the Irish Field with random pictures from her travels . She has always been so lucky in life with the love she received and has just returned to us to us to retire after keeping a friend company in Kildare for a few years . She will now after her hunting, show-jumping , showing days will actively retire doing what she loves best , minding all the babies of the yard and showing them all the things I would prefer they would not do . Here is to the golden oldie.
